Your New Pathway Awaits

Regardless of the size or scope of your landscape improvements, Howell Pathways is here to help you create a beautifully long-lasting result. Your pathway may receive light seasonal traffic, or it may experience a lot of guests. In either case, our pathway stabilizer, landscape edging, and landscaping materials are available to help you get the job done!

Install Your Landscape Edging

In order to maintain your new garden path and prevent it from washing away over the years, you’ll be tasked with installing permanent edging. This process can include a variety of materials to meet your budget and aesthetic preferences, including stones, pavers, wood, or metal. One eco-friendly way to protect your pathway and retain a natural beauty for years to come is through the use of our Bender Boards. This rugged landscape edging is rated to last, complete with proven UV protection to retain a quality shine after decades of quality use. You can deploy our 12-inch stakes to curve your pathway as you see fit!

Lay Your Pathway Materials

Once your pathway is edged, it’s time to begin filling it in. We recommend checking to ensure that the subgrade is compacted first to avoid any issues later on. Add your aggregate materials evenly across the path (Three inches of gravel is recommended to create a durable, beautiful result). Once the rocks or gravel are placed, utilize a roller, tamp, or 2” x 6” board to level and compact the surface. The goal is to create a smooth, steady surface for the final phase.

Jim Howell offers helpful hints, such as the use of a quality veneer of rocks over the top of cheaper materials to generate the same look without the high price tag.

Apply Klingstone Paths

Install our pathway stabilizer as needed to cover your entire path. You can pour the material via a watering can, applicator attachment, or pump and wand system. Cover the rocks evenly, spreading the material so that one gallon of Klingstone Paths covers 12 square feet. Let the material cure, and you’re good to go! Howell Pathways is here to make your project easier, and our gravel stabilizer is so easy to install we liken it to watering your garden!
